Requirements for participating in a virtual class:

  1. Your device must have a video webcam, microphone, and speakers. (You are required to enable video so that we can monitor attendance.)
  2. You need to set up a free Zoom account (https://zoom.us/) prior to the class. (Your free 40-minute account will allow you easy access to our ZOOM Classroom account.)
  3. You are expected to attend the entire class session (except during breaks) just as if you were sitting in a classroom.
  4. After the class, you will be emailed electronic affidavit and class evaluation links. To receive CE credit, you must complete both.

A link to participate in the class and student materials will be sent to registered students the business day before the class.

Class Description
Risk Management is designed to be an in-depth course study of the most critical aspects of a licensee's everyday responsibilities. This course includes a detailed breakdown of the Code of Ethics and how each Article has practical application to a REALTOR's everyday business using case studies. It will also provide knowledge of the law and how it applies to their practice to reduce the REALTOR's liability. In addition, this course will provide an understanding of procuring cause, arbitration, professional standards, BRRETA, diversity, fair housing, mortgage fraud, and antitrust.

Dr. Cynthia Davis
Cynthia is a personable business professional, diplomatic and tactful in connecting with people. She is flexible, versatile, poised, competent and able to maintain a sense of humor under pressure. Cynthia maintains a high energy level and is a self-motivated individual with the ability to organize and see finished products in their incubation stage. She has a varied and long background in education which crosses multiple platforms. In the classroom, her presentation and delivery skills are quite engaging and involved. Her real estate career began in 1982 and has included being an agent, current owner- broker of ALERT Properties and owner- Director of ALERT Real Estate School. She served as the 2016 President for her local real estate board, East Metro Board of REALTORS. In addition, she served on the Professional Standard Committee and currently serves on the Professional Development Committee with the Georgia Association of REALTORS (GAR).
