REALTORS are obliged to follow the Code of Ethics which raises their level of commitment to being the best they can be in all aspects of the industry including professional expectations. Skill Building will enhance and fine tune the REALTORS base in key areas crucial to making them an exemplary professional who can offer true knowledge and expertise to their clients and customers.

This course will ensure REALTORS use their forms correctly, understand the legal responsibilities when representing buyers and sellers, RESPA, best practices when negotiating, valuation of properties, branding, marketing, handling objections and an overall knowledge of the Code of Ethics. All the tools they need to be the best REALTOR they can be.

REALTORS will have a broader view of the importance of the spirit of cooperation when working with other REALTORS and licensees. REALTORS will also learn how to work to keep client's interests primary and how to handle difficult situations.

Course Credits:
--  NAR Code of Ethics and
--  GREC License Credit:
     - 15 CE Credits OR
     - Salesperson Post-License Credit when combined with Skill Building (2-Day Core Course)

For GRI credit, must pass the exam with a grade of 70% or higher.

For Sales Post-License credit, must pass this course exam and the GRI Core - Risk Management exam with a combined average of 75% or higher.

The GRI class exam is an online exam you must take at the end of the class -- while in the classroom/Livestream class. Be sure to bring a fully charged device to take the exam. We suggest a computer or tablet, not your phone, for taking the exam due to the device's screen size. You will be given the exam link at the time of the exam.

GREC Policy: If you have taken this course in the last 366 days, you will not receive CE credit.

School Policy: You must be on time and present for the entire session to receive credit.

Class format (In-Classroom or Livestream) is a decision of the Class Sponsor and not GAR.

Danny Amberson

Danny obtained his Georgia real estate salesperson’s license in 1990 and his broker’s license in 1995. He currently works as an active Broker/Co-Owner of RE/MAX Champions Realty in Columbus and Phoenix City Alabama, where he serves the public in Alabama and Georgia. Danny has been a managing broker with RE/MAX since January 2000 where he currently manages five sales associates and draws on his experience as a broker as well as his experiences as a sales associate. This experience allows him to provide examples of practical application of principles taught in the pre-license course. Danny has been active in the REALTOR® organizations. Danny has served as President, Columbus Board of REALTORS®, State Director, Regional Director for Region Six Director(2012-2013) with the Georgia Association of REALTORS® and currently serves as a GRI Dean. His real estate education includes meeting the requirements and receiving the Graduate, REALTORS® Institute (GRI) designation, the Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR) designation, and the e-PRO certification – a certification presented by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) for demonstrating an expertise in knowledge of real estate marketing with the internet. Prior to beginning his career in Real Estate, Danny served as a Blackhawk instructor pilot in the United States Army before retiring in 1992 He has an Associate’s Degree from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Aviation Management. 

Cancellations: Cancellations by the Early Bird Fee deadline will receive a full refund. Cancellations after the Early Bird Fee deadline (10-4-2022) will receive a refund less $25.00.
